Description

Makaibari Green Tea is One of the most popular tea globally originated from Darjeeling. A great deal of close attention goes into making this unique green tea. From one of the oldest tea estates in Darjeeling, you can not only feel well by drinking this green tea but feel good at the organic farming methods used to produce it. As the dark green leaves steep, note the aroma of light citrus and spinach. The pale yellow brew delivers light, sweet lemon overtones supported by a subtly vegetal base. Perfect for a mid-morning energy boost.

Over time I have develped liking for green tea.

Since my morning always consists of a good strong cup of green tea, I was looking forward to a bag of “Classic Green” tea. I usually choose India and China based teas, but I’m always up for trying a new green tea.So, as my tradition, I made a cup of warm ‘Makaibari Green Tea’. I was a bit distracted by some things I was doing online as I grabbed my cup to take the first sip.
This tea was so good, I was flown back to reality and sat back to just enjoy the whole cup of tea! It was light yellow in colour with a strong and smooth flavor of sweet lemon supported by pinch of vegetal notes. There was the slightest scent of citrus and spinach, but I am at a loss in how to describe it with words, other than PURE,which is absolutely true given the organic ways used for cultivating the tea.
